INDUSTRY HOUSE SUMMARY
Waste
Black Sustainability, Inc.’s Waste Industry House is a network of environmental practitioners in the world of waste remediation which includes waste reduction strategies, circularity, the salvage economy and waste repurposing. Reflecting on a time where cultural wisdom taught respect for the natural cycle of a balanced human relationship with the environment, this industry house holds potential for innovation and improvement. In a time faced with environmental degradation concerns that especially impact the vulnerable communities of the Afrikan diaspora, this innovation is crucial for the protection and healing of the Black community.
